Job Overview As an Assistant Store Manager at Salad Days, you will play a crucial role in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation of high-quality salads and other dishes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency, as we'll as using the Petpooja software for managing kitchen checklists, placing orders for raw materials, and filling out daily reports. Additionally, you will handle complaint RCA and camera audits, oversee training progress and assessment tests, manage equipment health and R&M, and coordinate local store marketing (LSM) activities. Key Responsibilities Gain in-depth knowledge of Salad Days menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Efficiently handle peak times while adhering to prescribed KPT to maintain service standards. Manage kitchen operations, including filling out kitchen checklists, placing orders for raw materials, and filling out daily reports. Handle root cause analysis (RCA) of complaints and conduct camera audits. Oversee the progress of training programs and administer assessment tests to ensure team members are meeting performance standards. Monitor and maintain the health of kitchen equipment, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance (R&M) as needed. Coordinate and execute local store marketing (LSM) activities, including new product introductions (NPI), door hangings, and other marketing initiatives to drive store traffic and sales. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary education is a plus but not required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment, including hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, inventory management, packaging, dispatching, training, and managing operations. Advanced understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques. Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide, motivate, and manage a team effectively. Proficiency in using computer software for kitchen management and reporting. Ability to perform root cause analysis for complaints and conduct camera audits. Knowledge of equipment health monitoring and repair & maintenance (R&M). Experience in executing local store marketing (LSM) activities.
