The Assistant Counselor will work under the guidance of a senior counselor to support students with personal, academic, and career-related concerns. Key Responsibilities : Student Support : Assist in providing counseling services to students, helping them cope with academic stress, personal issues, and other challenges affecting their well-being. Advising : Help students identify their academic goals, assist with course selection, and provide guidance on academic progress. Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, student progress, and case notes in accordance with institutional policies. Individual Counseling : Provide individual counseling to students as directed, helping them address emotional, academic, or social issues. Communication : Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and other staff members, ensuring that students feel supported and informed about available resources. Qualifications : Bachelor s degree. Strong communication skills. Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
