JOB DESCRIPTION_ ASSOSICATE/ASSISTANT DIRECTOR Chandigarh university aims of ensuring holistic professional and personal student development through its innovative centralized department-Department of Career Planning & Development (DCPD) that strives hard for the upliftment of the students by providing them training on Personality Development, Grammar, Vocabulary, Spoken English, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation to help them achieve the zenith of success in their chosen career path. Job Title Associate/Assistant Director Department Department of Career Planning & Development KEY RESPONSIBILTY AREAS · To liaison with Academic Department, students and DCPD Trainers about DCPD schemes, curriculum, resource sharing, trainer allocation, timetable, staffroom arrangement, study material distribution & assessment · To maintain Master Student Data · To prepare the duty charts for the training sessions – Mock PI/Inter-Branch GDs, evening remedial sessions, special workshops, etc, and be vigilant to handle subsequent changes and updations as and when required · To take feedback on the effectiveness of training, trainers, and content from students and take action on the concerned trainer in case of dissatisfaction · To create requirement of trainers (every semester), the Trainer Sharing Matrix and Time Table as per the given number of trainers, students, group size, and applicable weekly hours required for making the timetable of the regular sessions · To create and provide high quality Soft Skills & Aptitude content by preparing year/branch wise syllabus, lecture plans, detailed course files with PPTs/Videos/ Reference material · To prepare and provide the surprise tests, assignments for the ongoing semester to the MSCs of Soft Skills & Aptitude · To create and update the CUIMS as well as I-assess test master summary, Books summary, MPP summary, PI questions summary & GD topics summary · To create questions/speech for students/alumni to participate in major DCPD/University events like CAB, Peer Mentoring Session, AMCAT Analysis, Pre-Placement Talk, Rendezvous with Alumni, etc. · To ensure timely quality creation of monthly magazine of DCPD · To ensure timely submission of Internal and External Rewards of Soft Skills & Aptitude to COE · To train a team of ELPD & Aptitude trainers on content to be delivered in various course codes and ensure quality delivery of Soft Skills/Aptitude content by trainers through regular quality checks of Soft Skills/Aptitude sessions by visiting the classes and taking necessary actions as per the SOP · To train and audit Master Subject Coordinators on content creation and quality assurance. · To train students for various Soft Skills & Aptitude Contests/events · To organize and conduct Train the Trainer/Knowledge Sharing Programs for trainers. To ensure that the new joiner is given all six types of DCPD training which includes KRA training, Budy training, IT tools training by · master Budy, Course file training by MSC,Induction by reporting manager & ancillary offering training by DQAC ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Qualification Preferably MBA Experience Minimum 15 years of experience in soft skills or aptitude training, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
