About the Role: We are looking for a highly motivated Associate Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills to drive the success of engineering projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project roadmaps. Drive best practices in coding, architecture, and design patterns to improve system scalability and maintainability. Mentor and coach engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support. Ensure adherence to agile development methodologies and continuous improvement practices. Identify potential risks in project execution and proactively implement mitigation strategies. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in software development , with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or managerial role . Strong proficiency in tech stack - Java, Python, React, Node.js, MERN/MEAN. Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture. Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and software development best practices. Proven ability to mentor engineers and foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in leading high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment. Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) . Prior experience in hiring and building high-performing engineering teams.
