The MSCI Analytics Managed Services team is composed of experienced professionals that provide first tier ongoing services to our Risk Management clients around the world. Currently, the Global Analytics Managed Services team is present in the following locations: New York, Monterrey, Budapest, Mumbai and Manila. Team members who work on Managed Services Projects are responsible for providing support and solutions to a wide variety of reporting methodology, regulatory, usage and technical needs. Specialists work directly with clients across all market s segments including asset owners, asset managers, hedge funds, banks, brokers, wealth managers and pension plans. Your Key Responsibilities The specialist will monitor and analyze client portfolio data and work with the client throughout the on-boarding and ongoing process. MSCIs specialists support client with our risk and analytics products, which are integrated into the clients investment process. The Analytics Managed Services specialist will gain competencies in data modeling portfolio reconciliation and reporting. As a specialist, he/she will work with several clients simultaneously in virtual teams, along with solutions team, Implementation Team, Product Team, Data Team, and Risk consultants. Understanding how modeling and mapping configuration choices affect the risk results delivered in our reports Assisting clients with data conformance and validation testing especially checking input files for proper formatting and appropriate content for for modeling and using processing logs to analyses the portfolio for accuracy and completeness. Monitoring and controlling workflow to ensure proper set up of client configuration files with proper rules for term and conditions enrichment of portfolio data. Analyzing and fixing MV breaks and doing rejection remediation on various kind of client use cases Directly assist global clients via phone and email by providing analysis on reject remediation and MV reconciliation activities. Work on Agile projects aimed at innovation and continuous improvement of our global practices. Your skills and experience that will help you excel 2-4 years of work experience; Relevant experience is a plus Degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or other quantitative fields required Knowledge of Python and SQL are desirable. MFE, MBA, master s degree and/or CFA desired but not essential Demonstrated understanding of financial topics Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills
