Our Chief Data Office also known as our Innovation, Data Intelligence & Analytics team (IDA) is focused on driving innovation through optimizing how we leverage data to drive strategy and create a new business model disrupting the insurance market. As we develop an enterprise-wide data and digital strategy that moves us toward greater focus on the use of data and data-driven insights, we are seeking an Assistant Manager for our Business Intelligence team. The role will support the teams efforts towards reporting transformation project (especially for Ceded Re business) and handling customer requests/enhancements. This role requires a person that is a team player, can work well with team members from other disciplines to deliver data in an efficient and strategic manner. DISCOVER your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include? Manage BI & Reporting BAU and effective stakeholder management. Support/Manage BI & Reporting products. Energize and synergize the various Business Intelligence models and reporting. Support IDA BI & Reporting on various strategic initiatives as they arise from time to time and enable the development of the function and related capabilities. Develop BI & Reporting talent across AXA XL, while embracing inclusion and diversity, to enable usage and value creation through our strategic digital, data and analytics assets. Instill a customer-first culture, prioritizing service for our business stakeholders above all. Contribute to the development of the Business Intelligence teams tools, skills, and culture and bring favorable impact. You will report to the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence & Reporting. SHARE your talent Were looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate well within teams, peers, and teams across the globe, and manage stakeholders effectively. Brings in a collaborative spirit, a can-do attitude and a Customer First mindset. A minimum of a bachelors or masters degree in a relevant discipline. Relevant years of experience in a data role (analytics or engineer) supporting multiple specialty areas of Data and Analytics. Passion for digital, data and AI and experience working within a digital and data-driven organization. Relevant years of end-user experience with BI tools like Power BI (incl. Report builder tool) etc. have extensively worked on building/managing the data models in PowerBI. Desired Skills and Abilities: Intermediate proficiency in SQL, Advanced Excel, MS Access, and VBA. Able to help/guide his team members on any technical issues and develop them so that the team can resiliently manage the same.
