Design of KPI tracking systems for complex company-wide metrics across various Uber products and teams globally Performing analytical deep dives to drive product/strategy road-map Build data products from scratch using tech stacks like GenAI, NLP, ML, DE, etc Apply expertise in statistical analysis, data mining and visualization to own and deliver end to end analytical solution development Translate analytical solution into actionable insights and recommendations for the technical and non-technical audience in a clear, concise and persuasive way Maintain and continue to raise the bar for quality/efficiency of analytical solution delivery across the team Focus on long term improvements by building, maintaining, and documenting best practices within the team and seek continuous improvement opportunities Lead vendor data analysts in project execution Do all that it takes to drive and deliver multiple analytical and data engineering projects to partner teams across Uber ---- What You Will Need ---- BA/BS/MS in Physics, Economics, Applied Math, Statistics, Engineering, OR, Computer Science, or any other quantitative field Proficient in writing and understanding complex SQL queries Knowledge of latest ML algorithms such as GenAI, NLP, CV, recommendation systems Strong multi-tasking & project management skills, Keen sense of prioritization. Ability to thrive and deliver in an ambiguous environment Self-motivated and driven to deliver agreed results on-time. Good story-telling & articulation skills - ability to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights & recommendations for technical & non-technical audience Strong influence and relationship management skills; comfortable interacting across all levels of stakeholders A minimum 2+ years experience in an analytics/DE delivery role ---- Preferred Qualifications ---- Programming background and expertise in solving a business problem using at least one of the following languages: Python, R Deep knowledge of NLP theory and an understanding of the latest innovations in Generative AI Experience with Big Data platforms like Spark, Hadoop, and their ecosystems (Hive, Pig) Experience working with large data sets and Hive database Experience of successfully managing small to medium-scale projects
