Job Description

Position - Associate Project Engineer / Project Engineer (Creo with casting/sheetmetal skills) We are hiring Associate Project Engineers / Project Engineers with 1 to 3 years of experience, demonstrating proficiency in Creo for design within the casting/forging domain. This role involves working on the design and development of components, focusing on optimizing them for manufacturing processes like casting and forging. Your responsibilities will include utilizing Creo to create precise 3D models and assemblies, ensuring design intent is clearly communicated. A key aspect of this position is your experience in handling PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems, which is crucial for managing design data, revisions, and workflows efficiently. You will be responsible for meticulously applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure that manufacturing specifications are accurate and unambiguous. Furthermore, the ability to conduct precise Tolerance Stack-up calculations is essential to predict how part variations will affect assembly fit and function, thereby mitigating potential manufacturing and assembly issues. This role requires a strong understanding of the specific design considerations for casting and forging, enabling you to contribute to designs that are both functional and manufacturable. You will collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and robust production.
