We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineer - Performance to assist in the delivery of major business transformation programs. You will work in a multi-national virtual team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services, systems and applications in a pivotal role, working closely with the business and technology functions, and Program teams, to execute testing and quality assurance activities. You are thorough and methodical, with a passion for the art of testing, with a fundamental commitment to the Customer, security, automation, and quality. You ll thrive on delivering value to Customers and positioning projects for successful and smooth transition to operations. Deliverables Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scripts using JMeter. Conduct load, stress, and endurance testing on web, Mobile APP and API-based applications. Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization. Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines. Monitor performance tests and analyse the behaviour from different regions. Generate comprehensive test reports, document findings, and suggest performance improvements. Develop reusable test frameworks and scripts to enhance efficiency. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in performance testing. Knowledge in Silk Performer/Load runner will be added advantage. Competencies With the below core skills... Performance Testing Skills - Ability to understand the system architecture of the application under test. Ability to explore all aspects of performance test through UI, APP, API and the backend. Ability to learn the application through exploration. Building Relationships - Able to develop effective relationships with all IDP staff and be recognised as providing a supporting role. Communication - Good communication skills suitable for the liaison with departmental staff and senior colleagues. Demonstrate good communication, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients and customers including producing reports, preparing, organising and delivering presentations using appropriate tools and techniques. Teamwork - Able to contribute effectively towards the objectives of a team, and be able to share knowledge, ideas and information. Aware of the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions.
