Job Description

Technical writers are a key link between product, engineering, support, implementation, marketing, and customers. As an associate technical writer you are responsible for the creation and maintenance of all documentation related to Lightcast s products. You clearly and accurately communicate how Lightcast products work and the problems they solve. You work on multiple products simultaneously. Major Responsibilities: Drive product enablement, increase NPS, and lower time to value by pairing products with well organized and context-relevant documentation. Contribute to the development of Lightcast s product and API documentation; drive the overall structure and content of Lightcast documentation ensuring accuracy, clarity, and up-to-date information. Collaborate with product teams and other technical writers to understand the key business problems being solved; articulate Lightcast solutions using clear and concise product documentation. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of your documentation to track its success; make improvements as necessary. Abilities: A proven self starter Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences Collaborative team player Excellent English-language communication skills Education and Experience: 1 year experience as a technical writer or related role Basic knowledge of of technical writing tools and content management systems is preferred .
