Audit Associate II (IFRS & UK GAAP)

Job Description

Position Overview: As an Audit Associate II, you would be expected to participate in all phases of the financial statements audit, demonstrating teamwork, creative thinking, and flexibility in prioritizing tasks while exercising professional skepticism. The clientele would span various industries, including financial services, manufacturing, etc. Job Responsibilities: Proactively assisting in all stages of the audit engagement, including planning, with the main area of emphasis being the execution of the fieldwork. Identify significant matters noted during fieldwork and promptly bring them to the attention of the engagement in charge and manager. Ensuring work/sections assigned are completed to a high standard, on time, and within the agreed-upon budget with the engagement in charge and manager. Maintain up-to-date and relevant technical knowledge of the industry. Building productive working relationships within the Firm and with clients as required. Develop and apply your technical knowledge through on-the-job training. Requirements: A minimum of 1year of relevant post-qualification experience with BIG4s/international accounting firms. Qualified Chartered Accountant/CPA/ACCA. Knowledge and experience working on IFRS and UK GAAP. Knowledge of US GAAP will be an added advantage. Case ware/Mercia and CCH Engagement/Knowledge Coach experience would be an advantage. Strong command of English. Strong command over MSOffice tools. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Project management skills would be an advantage. Team player. Enjoy working as part of a team and self-motivated.
