AutoCAD & BIM Draftsman MEP (JOB CODE : KSA-1515) Desired Candidate Profile: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or ITI/ Diploma or related field, providing a strong technical foundation. Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience in mechanical drafting, showcasing a solid understanding of mechanical systems. Candidates having GCC region experience are preferred for familiarity with local market conditions. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software, with a portfolio demonstrating past projects. Certification in AutoCAD or a similar drafting tool, highlighting a commitment to professional development. Experience in the construction industry, giving insight into practical application of designs. Ability to read and understand engineering schematics and technical specifications, ensuring effective communication. Strong attention to detail and accuracy to minimize errors in technical drawings. A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to learn new technologies and tools. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop detailed mechanical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems Collaborate with engineers and designers to interpret project requirements and translate them into precise technical drawings. Modify existing drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders or changes in project scope, ensuring timely updates. Conduct thorough checks and reviews of technical drawings to identify inconsistencies and potential design flaws. Assist in the preparation of project proposals and estimates. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM), and reports. Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and best practices related to mechanical drafting and design. Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in MEP drafting. Maintain and update drawing files and databases.
