Location: Bangalore Experience: 6 9 Years Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Overview The Automation Engineer Lead plays a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency by developing and maintaining automated solutions within our IT infrastructure. This role involves streamlining processes across Linux and Windows environments , fostering innovation, and working on key projects that directly impact business success. Your expertise will drive actionable automation initiatives, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize automation frameworks. Responsibilities Develop and maintain automation scripts to optimize operational processes across Linux and Windows environments . Implement and manage Ansible for configuration management by writing playbooks and roles. Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for seamless builds, deployments, and testing. Automate virtualization tasks , including the deployment and optimization of virtual machines using VMware. Automate system-level administrative tasks and monitor performance across servers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and automate manual processes. Document automation scripts, workflows, and operational processes thoroughly. Provide solutions for run operations, networking backup, health checks, and IT infrastructure automation . Requirements 4 to 5 years of experience in automation and system administration . Proficiency in at least three scripting languages , including Shell Scripting, Bash, PowerShell, or Python . Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure automation . Familiarity with CI/CD tools , specifically Jenkins , for automated deployment processes. Experience with GitHub for code management and collaboration. Solid background in virtualization technologies , particularly VMware . Expertise in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems .
