Job Description General scope of the job, responsibilities, and authority To Engineer and do Software Development, FAT, Start-up, Commissioning, handover & Service of assigned projects in time. Apart from this, engineer to provide technical service/ support to customers. Design of Industrial Panels Logic understanding & I/O list preparation Software Development Simulation Testing & FAT Delivery of project within the agreed schedule Material checking at site using packing list Hardware checking (Panels, Computer peripherals etc.). Inspection / Supervision of Power, Control, Screened, Communication & special cable laying. Establishing & troubleshooting Profibus, Ethernet, Modbus & FO networks as per the System architecture drawing. Power up of CPU Panels, MCC IO & RIO panels. Power up of Engineering Station, Servers, and all Operator Station etc. Testing /Simulation of developed software along with customer. PG Test as per the contract with respect to project. Handing over protocol. Red lining document to be maintained during Commissioning in two sets. On-time start-up (commissioning) of the delivered projects Capturing customer complaints and timely solution Following safety norms and ensuring safe working environment Applicant Educational Background Minimum B. Tech/ B.E/ Diploma from a reputed University with First Class in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering Key skills and competences Technical Knowledge of below ABB Automation systems - 800xA, Freelance, Compact products Knowledge of DCS/ PLC HW/SW Components Knowledge of Industrial communication protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet I/P Knowledge of Motors/ Drives/Digital Electronics Knowledge on MCC/ iMCC/ VFD Drives/ Soft starters communication with DCS/PLC Knowledge of IT/ Network/ Peripherals like UPS, Printer, PCs, Server components of DCS system Knowledge in application programming & HMI development/ modifications for PLC/ DCS systems Experience of engineering/ commissioning/ trouble shooting/ servicing of automation & drive systems applications Knowledge in Microsoft Excel & Word. Soft skills A quick grasp for user and functional requirements Good oral and written communication skills in English. Other Willing to travel extensively. Work experience 1-3 years of relevant work experience in field. Personal attributes Customer focused Self-motivated and a self-starter Good listening and communication skills (both internally and with customers) A fast learner with an interest in sharing knowledge and train peers/ customers. 2-Wheeler Driving License Language skills (language/level) Fluency in English, written and oral, is a must.
