Job DescriptionLocation: MaharashtraDesignation: Deputy Manager/Manager Procurement -Civil (Solar)Purpose:Ensuring proper and timely ordering of Packages, timely delivery, proper documentation of the process, timelypayment to vendors and monitor the Cost Control statement of all the project package costs.Nature and Scope:Aim at in time and qualitative sourcing of vendors for various packages.Follow the laid process of pre bid for sending tender enquiry. Carrying out negotiation with bidders to best estimated prices by market intelligence and first principal rules to match the project budget as given by the management.Proper contract management of supplies and services by timely payment and keep track of compliances specified in the contract. Proper documentation of all compliance documents and timely contract closing.To plan, organize, direct, control and coordinate the supply/ services required during execution and Operation and Maintenance of the Projects.Time to time interaction with Suppliers /Contractors and Project team to see that the performance of supplier / contractors is aligned to the ultimate goal of the company. Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers.Update the management goal to the team members and keep them motivated to excel in their capability and align their individual goals to achieve the management goal. Oversee their training requirements so that their performance can be improved.Keep track of overall cost expenditure of Project. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in site management, facilities, and workforce administration, with an understanding of the unique needs of large-scale renewable energy projects.Key Responsibilities:Site Administration: Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the site, including managing operational activities, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring the site meets project deadlines. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, site policies, and operational procedures. Act as the point of contact for all site-related inquiries. Transport Management: Manage logistics for employee transportation, including scheduling of vehicles, driver coordination, and ensuring timely arrivals/departures Ensure the fleet is well-maintained and operating efficiently.
