Job Description

Role & responsibilities : Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, architects, and data engineers. Ensure predictable software delivery by implementing agile methodologies, sprint planning, and release management processes. Develop and maintain a structured delivery roadmap with clear milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans. Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Business, Risk, and Compliance, and other teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business goals. Optimize DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation to improve deployment speed, reduce cycle times, and enhance system stability. Monitor and improve engineering KPIs, including delivery predictability, sprint velocity, incident resolution time, and defect rates. Proactively identify bottlenecks and technical debt to enhance scalability, performance, and compliance adherence. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the engineering team to enhance agility and efficiency. Drive operational excellence by ensuring 99.99% uptime, system reliability, and high-performance architecture for core fintech platforms. Experience with financial and transactional systems Experience engineering for large volumes of data at scale Experience with financial audit and compliance is a plus Experience building a successful consumer facing web and mobile apps at scale Preferred candidate profile : Managed software developers
