AVPL (Audio Video Performance License) is seeking dynamic and result-driven Sales Executives to educate business establishments about the legal obligations under Section 30 of the Copyright Act and sell AVPL licenses. The role requires proactive fieldwork, visiting multiple establishments daily, explaining compliance requirements, collecting royalties, and ensuring license acquisition.Key Responsibilities:Business Outreach & Sales:Identify and visit establishments such as restaurants, hotels, malls, gyms, and event venues.Explain the need for an AVPL license to legally play copyrighted audio/video content.Persuade and convert establishments into paying license holders.Legal Compliance & Education:Educate business owners about Section 30 of the Copyright Act and the legal consequences of non-compliance.Clarify their responsibility in obtaining an AVPL license for public performances.Royalty Collection & Documentation:Collect royalties on behalf of music and video producers.Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of collected fees.Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.Address queries and concerns professionally to secure long-term clients.Market Research & Reporting:Identify potential new business prospects and track market trends.Provide daily reports on sales, leads, and compliance activities.Follow-up & Renewal Management:Ensure timely follow-ups with clients for renewal of licenses.Monitor businesses for continued compliance with licensing regulations.Skills:Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.Ability to handle objections and convert leads into clients.Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.Other Requirements:Must own a smartphone for reporting and communication.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.Knowledge of copyright laws is an advantage (training will be provided).Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.Travel allowances for field visits.Professional training and legal education on copyright compliance.Career growth opportunities in a fast-expanding industry.
