Job description Job Title: Cloud and Linux Administrator Experience: 4-8 years Location: Chennai, India Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled AWS and Linux Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to design, implement, and manage robust cloud and Linux environments. Expertise in AWS, Linux system administration, and automation is essential. Experience in the fintech domain is a strong advantage. Educational Qualifications: Mandatory: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered for exceptional candidates. Preferred: Masters degree in computer science, Cloud Computing, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Qualifications and Skills: Strong expertise in AWS and Linux system administration. Proficiency in shell scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools. Knowledge of networking and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in the fintech domain is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: AWS Cloud Infrastructure: Design and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-optimized AWS environments. Manage core AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC. Linux System Administration: Deploy, configure, and manage Linux servers (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu). Perform regular patching, performance tuning, and incident resolution. Automation and DevOps: Implement infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Automate operational tasks and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Security and Monitoring: Enforce AWS security best practices and compliance.
