We develop intelligent, autonomous cleaners with IoT, AI, and cloud-based analytics to reduce water usage and increase plant output. π― Role Summary We are seeking a proactive AWS & IoT Engineer to lead and manage our cloud-based robotic analytics and control systems. This person will design and maintain systems that collect, process, and analyze data from our deployed solar cleaning robots using AWS IoT Core, Lambda, and related services . π οΈ Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS-based infrastructure for IoT-connected robots. Configure and manage AWS IoT Core , MQTT topics , device shadows , and secure device onboarding . Develop and manage Lambda functions for real-time data processing, log analysis, and alerts. Implement data pipelines using AWS S3 , DynamoDB , and/or Timestream . Enable over-the-air firmware update (FOTA) systems using AWS Device Management . Interface with embedded/robotic firmware team to define communication protocols (JSON/MQTT). Set up dashboards or APIs for analytics (QuickSight, Grafana, or custom solutions). Automate deployment using CloudFormation/Terraform (optional but valuable). Handle debugging, scaling, and uptime reliability for edge-cloud communication. Ensure system security through AWS IAM, Cognito (if applicable), and certificate policies. π¨βπ» Required Skills 2β5 years experience in AWS Cloud services focused on IoT or serverless architecture. Hands-on experience with AWS IoT Core , Lambda , DynamoDB , S3 , CloudWatch . Experience with MQTT protocols , IoT device provisioning, and shadow documents. Proficient in Python or Node.js for Lambda scripting. Familiar with data structuring, REST APIs , and lightweight communication models. Comfortable working with embedded engineers to design data pipelines from robots to cloud. β Desirable/Bonus Skills Experience with Grafana , AWS Timestream , Athena , or QuickSight for dashboards. Exposure to firmware development (ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi, etc.). Familiarity with OTA update mechanisms and secure boot loaders. Integration of machine learning models or anomaly detection in AWS. Knowledge of OTA logging , remote debugging , and field device diagnostics . Understanding of energy domain or solar robotics is a plus. π Qualifications B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
