AWS Cloud Architect

Job Description

Position Summary The Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, and must have the ability to help shape the journey into AWS. In this role, they will work closely with various teams to ensure cloud solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Job Description Design and implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWSEvaluate and analyze current infrastructure and applications to recommend cloud migration strategiesDevelop and maintain cloud architecture blueprints and best practicesCollaborate with development teams to ensure proper implementation of cloud solutionsOptimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost-efficiencyStay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, incorporating them into our architecture when beneficialProvide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on AWS best practicesParticipate in client meetings to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure Skills Require 9-11 years of technology experience.At least 5-7 years of experience in AWS Cloud Architecture with large multinational organisations.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fieldQualified in ITIL, TOGAF or similar ITSM frameworks, particularly focused on service operations or service transitionAWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification (Professional level preferred) 2+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation, with a strong focus on AWSIn-depth knowledge of AWS services and architectural best practicesStrong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaSExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CloudFormation or TerraformProficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or Node.js) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
