Job Title: Azure Data Engineer (SDE 1/SDE 2) Location: Bengaluru, India Job Summary: To design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that support the organizations data infrastructure and analytics initiatives. Youll work collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow across multiple systems and platforms. Responsibilities: Data Pipeline Development : Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines for seamless data integration and movement across systems. Collaboration : Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure that data systems align with the analytics needs of the business. Optimization & Maintenance : Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of data pipelines. Data Security & Governance : Ensure secure data handling practices in compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. Automation : Contribute to the automation of data processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency. Required Skills: Python : Proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation and pipeline development. SQL & Relational Databases : Strong understanding of SQL for querying and manipulating data in relational databases. Version Control : Familiarity with Git for code management and collaboration. Cloud Platforms : Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure). Cloud Integration (Azure) : Familiarity with Azure, particularly Azure Data Factory , for data integration and orchestration. Big Data Processing : Experience with Databricks for big data processing and analytics. Data Warehousing : Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies. Data Engineering Frameworks : Familiarity with frameworks and tools used for building and managing large-scale data pipelines. Minimum Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : 3-7 years of experience in data engineering or a related role. Skills : Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
