Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, data warehousing solutions, and application integrations using Azure Databricks, PySpark, Azure Synapse Analytics, ADF, and .NET Framework . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, automation, cloud infrastructure management, and DevOps practices . Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Pipeline Development Design and implement efficient and scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks with PySpark . Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability . 2. Application Integration Develop APIs using the .NET Framework to support Azure Web Application integrations. Ensure seamless data exchange between applications and downstream systems. 3. Data Warehousing and Analytics Build and manage data warehousing solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory (ADF) . Develop scalable and reusable data models to support business intelligence needs. 4. Automation and Orchestration Automate workflows using Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, and Azure DevOps . Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient code deployment and testing. 5. Infrastructure Management Oversee Azure infrastructure management , ensuring a secure and optimized environment . Provide support for performance tuning and capacity planning . 6. Business Alignment Understand AMO data sources and their business impact. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop customized solutions that align with business objectives. 7. BAU Support Monitor and support data engineering workflows and application functionality in BAU mode. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure business continuity. Technical Skills & Expertise: Microsoft SQL Advanced proficiency in complex queries and database management. Azure Databricks & PySpark Strong expertise in data engineering and ETL processes. Azure Data Factory (ADF) – Experience in orchestrating data workflows . Azure Synapse Analytics – Expertise in data integration and analytics . .NET Framework – Proficiency in API development and application integration . Azure Infrastructure Management – Experience in monitoring, security, and optimization . Azure Logic Apps & Function Apps – Hands-on experience in workflow automation . Azure DevOps – Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation . Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field . 5+ years of experience in Azure-based data engineering . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working in agile development environments .
