Job Description Job Title - B2B Sales & Channel Development Manager IoT Hardware Company-Vanix Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Position Overview-We are hiring a Sales & Channel Manager to own the execution of our FY2526 sales plan. Selling 6,000 units of our LTE/GPS IoT board across India. Youll work closely with the Sales Head and founding team to drive lead generation, demos, reseller partnerships, academic outreach, and event participationturning our strategy into real revenue.Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Sales Execution Identify and reach out to IoT integrators, tech startups, and college labs via LinkedIn, IndiaMART, and email campaigns. Manage the entire sales cycle: outreach, demo, trial, and conversion. Handle 35 qualified demos/trials per week. Channel & Reseller Onboarding Expand from our existing reseller (Robu.in) to build a national network of 10+ distributors. Onboard and support component retailers with pricing, margin planning, and marketing collateral. Academic Outreach & Kits Launch and drive the Campus IoT Champion initiative with 3 colleges/month. Build relationships with professors, TPOs, and technical labs to close 100+ unit academic orders. Startup & Incubator Engagement Liaise with 10+ startup accelerators like T-Hub, IIT Incubators, and NASSCOM CoE to promote adoption. Conduct product walkthroughs and sample kit deployments with early-stage startups. Marketing & Collateral Coordination Collaborate on LinkedIn posts, webinars, and WhatsApp follow-ups. Use CRM/Sheets to maintain weekly lead pipeline and funnel movement reports. Expos & Forums Represent Vanix at 2 national-level events Expos to generate high-quality leads. QualificationsMust-Have Requirements: 24 years of experience in B2B hardware/embedded/IoT sales. Proven ability to independently handle end-to-end sales processes. Experience dealing with electronics retailers, component distributors, or academic buyers. Strong communication (written + verbal) and digital tools proficiency (LinkedIn, CRM, Excel). Preferred Qualifications: Technical background (B.Tech in ECE/EEE/Instrumentation or related) Familiarity with LTE/GSM/GPS modules, development boards, or embedded tools Hands-on experience using IndiaMART, Mailchimp, WhatsApp Business, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator Key CompetenciesKey Competencies 1. B2B Technical Sales Acumen Ability to understand and explain IoT hardware products (even if not from an engineering background) Experience with cold outreach, demos, and closing technical deals Strong grasp of customer qualification and sales funnel management 2. Channel & Reseller Development Experience identifying and onboarding resellers/distributors Negotiation and pricing discussion skills Understanding of retail margins, pricing structures, and commercial terms 3. Academic/Educational Sales Exposure Comfort interacting with professors, TPOs, lab coordinators Ability to position technical products in academic settings Prior experience selling kits, boards, or lab equipment is a plus 4. Outreach & Lead Generation (Digital + Field) Hands-on with LinkedIn, IndiaMART, WhatsApp, and cold email/call tools Knows how to build a qualified pipeline from scratch Familiarity with CRM tools (or organized enough to use Excel for pipeline tracking) 5. Self-Driven Execution & Discipline Works independently without daily supervision Sets daily/weekly goals and reports progress Comfortable balancing multiple channels (retailers, colleges, startups) 6. Communication & Relationship Building Polished in communication (written and verbal, especially for follow-ups and demos) Can build trust quickly with clientsacross CXOs, professors, and procurement heads Handles rejections and objections professionally 7.
