Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other bakery items according to recipes and standards. Develop new recipes and menu items in line with customer preferences and seasonal trends. Ensure quality control of all baked goods, including taste, texture, and presentation. Manage bakery inventory, including ordering and maintaining stock of ingredients and supplies. Supervise and train junior bakery staff and trainees. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery kitchen according to health and safety regulations. Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure optimal results. Collaborate with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to meet customer demand and special orders. Manage bakery operations efficiently to minimize waste and control costs. Stay updated on baking techniques, trends, and innovations.
