Job Title: Bakery Chef Location: Nashik (Mumbai) Job Type: Full-time Reports to: Head Chef Job Summary: We are looking for a talented and experienced Bakery Chef to lead our baking operations. The ideal candidate should be passionate about baking, creative with recipes and presentation, and skilled in managing daily bakery production. You will be responsible for preparing a wide range of breads, pastries, desserts, and baked goods while ensuring the highest quality and consistency. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and bake a variety of bakery items such as breads, cakes, cookies, croissants, muffins, and tarts. Design and test new recipes and seasonal offerings in line with customer preferences. Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality in all bakery items. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the bakery section at all times. Manage inventory of baking ingredients and kitchen supplies; coordinate with procurement. Supervise junior bakers and pastry assistants, providing training and guidance as needed. Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure optimal results. Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards. Collaborate with the Executive Chef or F&B Manager to plan menus for events or special occasions. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience as a Bakery or Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen or bakery setup. Strong knowledge of bakery techniques, equipment, and ingredients. Creativity in recipe development and food presentation. Time management and organizational skills to handle bulk production. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holiday shifts.
