Job Description

ROLE : BID MANAGERExperience: 5-8YearsLocation: Hyderabad / Bangalore WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE Working independently but also collaborating with the wider bids and Bid team, the Bid Manager will:Take ownership of the bids process (end to end, project management, bid delivery, etc.) and further development and improvement of processes.Create storyline in terms of flow of the proposal.Challenge on Bid / No Bid decisions, with both quantifiable evidence and knowledge of other decisions for the same / similar clients around the business.Advise and lead partners and associates through the development of a bid strategy and formulation of a winning proposition.Manage request processing, selecting and leading optimal team for project according to customer requirements and company resources.Develop, review and validate pricing modelsCoordination with multiple stakeholders like solution team, finance team, legal team, risk and other teams to build an effective ecosystem to deliver best in class deliverables in areas of proposals, RFI/RFP response, etc.Responsible for getting all the approvals from various departments including sales, delivery, legal, business finance, HR, etc.Build reusable assets about practices, sectors, delivery methodologies, etc. to use in bids and contribute to the firm's standard content library.Develop business cases, marketing collaterals, and success stories involving inputs from multiple teams.AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE5+ years of presales/bid management experience (APMP certification is preferred)Strong team management experience and communication skillsStrong time management skills, flexibility when managing own workload and priorities to take others' time commitments into accountExcellent writing and editorial skills for pitch contentExcellent attention to detailTechnical background is a plusAbility to understand, articulate and write solutions as explained by Architects, SME;s and Practice Heads in the language of global businessDomain knowledge: Retails, FinTech, Manufacturing & CPG, Life Sciences, etc. is a plusComputer literate and can work expertly in Word and PowerPoint and competently in Excel.A strong team player – willingness to support other colleagues
