Job Description

Role : Data Engineering Big Data Developer/Lead Mandatory Skills: Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Function Apps Apache Spark, Scala, Java Apache Kafka, Event Streaming, Big Data Optional Skills: Airflow, Python Roles & Responsibilities: 9-10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in Big Data. Minimum 3 years of experience handling Big Data projects on Azure. At least 1 year of experience in event streaming using Kafka. Proficiency in Scala and Java programming, with hands-on experience in Spark framework and performance optimization. Experience in building high-quality, reusable frameworks. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub) and best practices, including code quality and branching strategies. Ability to automate tasks and deploy production-ready code (including unit testing, continuous integration, and versioning). Expertise in loading transformed data into storage and reporting structures such as data warehouses, high-speed indexes, real-time reporting systems, and analytics applications. Experience in peer reviews, unit testing, and production deployments. Strong problem-solving skills and logical reasoning abilities. Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Willingness to learn new technologies and apply them to projects. Ability to work independently in client-facing roles. Required to work from the Bangalore client office at least three days a week. Preference will be given to candidates, who are early joiners.
