Job Description This position involves working within the MEP Team at Axium Global’s Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai. The team consists of skilled professionals, including BIM designers, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers with varied experience. The BIM Designer will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed 3D models of plumbing and firefighting systems for various projects and will be working directly with leading MEP design consulting firms from the UK, USA, Australia and the UAE on flagship projects. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for mechanical HVAC systems in accordance with project requirements and standards Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of HVAC designs with other MEP disciplines, as well as structural and architectural components Prepare and provide detailed design documentation, including shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built drawings, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations Ability to learn and implement various services standards and building codes Ability to understand various MEP drawings / Plans / Sections Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, drawings and layout plans Sound knowledge of various aspects of building services, including HVAC, mechanical pipework for heating/cooling, domestic water supplies, gases, sprinklers and drainage systems Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews using BIM software to identify and resolve potential conflicts between HVAC systems and other building elements Assist in the development of project documentation and reports, providing insights related to HVAC system design and performance Stay current with industry trends, technologies and software related to BIM and HVAC design Qualification and Experience Required: BE/BTech mechanical engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field ITI/NCTVT certified HVAC/electrical/plumbing draftsman with relevant experience 2-5 years of experience in MEP design, specifically focusing on HVAC systems proficiency in BIM methodologies is essential Compensation: The selected candidate will receive competitive compensation and remuneration policies in line with qualifications and experience.
