Join Our Buildings Team in Chennai To spearhead the design process through all project phases as per client needs and standard codes, were seeking a BIM Engineer to join our building team in India. With over 130 professionals in India together with our global team of experts, we work alongside our customers on the world s most prestigious building and industrial projects. Weve contributed to notable projects like Copenhagen airport - Terminal 3 Airside extension and LEGO Manufacturing Facility plant in the US, Vietnam, and China , highlighting our commitment to excellence in buildings and addressing the growing demands of our international business. We are looking for a BIM Engineer to join our Buildings - MEP team, giving you the opportunity to co-create on some of the most prestigious Buildings projects in Scandinavia. Your key responsibilities will be to: Create and update projects including updating model content for on-going designs using Revit - MEP Coordinate models from architects, design engineers, MEP, and other disciplines on the project team Responsible for resolving clash detections in Revit MEP Assist internal and external teams in creating and maintaining tender and as-built documents Collaborate with internal and external teams to create detailed designs, including BIM delivery Your Skills. On top of that, you should: Hold a bachelor s in mechanical/electrical engineering with 3-6 yrs. of relevant experience Have extensive understanding of building information modelling in Revit MEP and Navisworks Lead the BIM Modelling team for mechanical and electrical systems and services. Have experience in handling multiple BIM assignments on different projects simultaneously Be interested in Visual programming and Dynamo Have demonstrated experience implementing and upgrading BIM standards, as well as developing BIM content for mechanical and/or electrical systems and elements Be able to prepare quantity take-off reports & perform quality checks at each stage of submission A place to work and so much more At COWI, we work together with our customers to shape a sustainable and livable world.
