Job Description

Oversee Service operations at multiple healthcare facilities and systems across the locations with full accountability for achieving service, financial, regulatory compliance, and organizational development goals to ensure service excellence. Oversee development of Integrated Service Plan (ISP) that includes annual operating, capital, training and resource plans, and budgets for multiple hospital sites. Bio-Medical Equipment Management: Supervise the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all medical equipment and devices, including but not limited to X-ray machines, CT scanners, laboratory equipment, and patient monitors. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all medical equipment meets regulatory compliance standards and maintain records of compliance testing and calibration. Team Leadership: Lead a team of Bio-Medical technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Equipment Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to determine the need for equipment upgrades or replacements, working closely with hospital management to make informed decisions. Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with equipment vendors for timely servicing, repairs, and procurement of medical equipment. Budget Management: Manage the Bio-Medical department budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient allocation of resources. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, servicing, and compliance for auditing and reporting purposes. Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans for equipment failures, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care. Preferred candidate profile Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Proven experience in Bio-Medical or Clinical Engineering, with a minimum of [Number of Years] years in a leadership role. Knowledge of medical equipment regulations and compliance standards.
