Bioinformatics Intern

Job Description

Perform data analysis on large-scale biological datasets, including genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics data. Develop and implement bioinformatics pipelines for data processing and interpretation. Assist in the development of scripts and software tools to automate data analysis tasks. Collaborate with researchers and scientists to interpret and visualize results. Contribute to research documentation, including reports and presentations. Stay up to date with the latest bioinformatics tools, methods, and technologies. What are we looking in you Completed a Master degree in Bioinformatics or a related field. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Perl. Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., BLAST, NCBI, Ensembl, etc.). Understanding of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis. Basic knowledge of statistics and data visualization. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
