Job Description

Role & responsibilities Responsible for smooth cold start-up, hot start-up, normal operation, emergency handling and shutdown of Boiler, and Turbine. Attending shutdown job of Boiler and Turbine. Monitoring & controlling steam/ air/ fuel/ water parameters to achieve maximum efficiency of boiler & turbine also provide corrective recommendation. Boiler tube replacement, coal nozzle modification, drum internal audit, APH tube leakage attend. Identifying areas of improvement and recommending process modifications and equipment calibrations to enhance operational efficiencies of machine / equipment Oxygen analyzer, feed transmitter, steam flow transmitter, pressure transmitter & other used instrument equipment performance monitoring & analyzing to comparing to standard parameter. To prepare the plant performance report of the shift/day during the shift operation, shutdown, emergency trouble shooting through sap system proper channel. Planning and effecting preventive maintenance/ overhauling schedules of various machineries and equipments to increase machine up time and reliability. Handle responsibilities from senior level engineers and safely supervising the boiler turbine and its auxiliaries Preparing test run of pumps & fans. Internal checking of pressure parts. ESP inspection and maintenance. Bag house inspection and maintenance. Carried out the various pre-commissioning activities i.e., leakage test, hydro test, refractory dry out, types of flushing, air blowing, steam blowing & alkali boil out etc. Monitoring safety aspects of maintenance jobs being carried out during shutdown. Operating boiler through DCS system. Leading a team of skilled & unskilled manpower to accomplish particular jobs. Start up the equipment in a safe and systematic manner. Boiler and Turbine cold and hot start up procedures. Knowledge in DM & RO Plant operations. Handle responsibilities from senior level engineers and safely supervising the boiler turbine and its auxiliaries Responsible for normal plant operation, start up and shutdown, emergency operations for smooth Trouble free and efficient running of power plant. Successfully erection & commissioning of boiler, turbine, CHP, Cooling tower fan, Surface condenser, CEP, ACW. • RDO, hydro test, DP test of boiler attend. Checked & verified all equipment logic & circuits. Successfully done boiler alkalis, boiler steam blowing, DM & RO plant installation & initial startup. To prepare the plant performance report of the shift/day during the shift operation. Reduction in auxiliary power consumption, sp.dm water consumption, leakages. Ensure healthiness of firefighting system Preferred candidate profile MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Certified Boiler Operation Engineer (BOE)
