Job Description

Role & responsibilities HT yard & system Design and Detail Engineering with the scope of grid interface for power generation equipment. Manage compliance to Electricity Regulation of various states; New Equipment development for switch yard & transmission system. Value Engineering -continuous design/ engineering improvement projects to reduce cost, increase reliability and performance. Review & approve technical documentation for Quality Assurance of product/ components/ erection & installation works. Technical support service to site operations & maintenance , prototype installation & guide all project teams in inculcating best practices of installation/ commissioning; Trouble shooting. Responsible for resolution of the Engg. Change requests received from Projects teams & facilitate implementation of changes. Develop construction/ installation manuals & safety procedures; Equipment specifications. Prepare technical training modules for training of on-site & project Engg. personnel and take up initiatives to enhance the competency of TG team. Technical Services to Marketing/ Tendering division and Cost control; Vendor development & evaluation; RCA for field failures.
