Job Description: The Accounts Officer / Assistant Manager Accounts Finance will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, overseeing accounts payable, bank cash management, general ledger accounting, taxation, and audits. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting. Product Link : Responsibilities: Understand the procurement-to-payment cycle and ensure smooth execution by reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before processing payments. Reconcile various ledgers and confirm ledger balances with vendors. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and ensure invoice booking is in accordance with accounting standards. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles as well as Supervise and monitor supply chain management activities and reconcile payments from various vendors. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments ensuring timely statutory payments and compliance with due dates. Disburse payroll, petty cash, and reimbursements accurately. Manage foreign remittance (inward outward) transactions and Negotiate forex rates for transactions. Prepare cash forecast statements. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of bank reconciliation statements and Monitor FX gain/loss accounting. Implement appropriate accounting and documentation processes as per Indian compliance standards. Review reimbursement and petty cash transactions before booking and Prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy as well as Perform month-end closing activities. Conduct revenue and expenditure variance analysis, Prepare monthly financial reports for month-end closing along with Developing schedules, supporting documents, and variance analyses. Prepare the annual budget and analyze variances and Handle internal and external audits efficiently, Manage statutory audits, Oversee tax audits and ITR filings. Handle transfer pricing documentation and filings. Conduct actuarial valuation assessments. Liaise with banks and government departments as required and Reconcile and verify Fixed Asset Register (FAR) as well Process salary journal vouchers (JVs). File TDS returns (Form 24Q 26Q) accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including Income Tax, GST, PF, and ESI, Compute and process advance tax payments along with Filing GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C. Ensure compliance with Foreign Assets and Liability Return (FLAR) requirements and Maintain compliance with Statement of Financial Transactions (SFT) Form 61A. Also, Adhere to the provisions and requirements of the Companies Act, 2013. Understand and manage Softex, Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), Annual Performance Reports (APR), and Software Export Reporting Format (SERF) filings. Requirements: CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance)/B.Com/ M.Com or equivalent qualification along with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance, preferably in a corporate environment. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems). Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), IFRS, and regulatory compliance. Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory filings. Proficiency in MS Excel, financial reporting, and budgeting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
