The BSA Lead (Business Systems Analyst) will drive business analysis efforts to support various functional areas, documenting and analyzing business processes, and delivering innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills, project management capabilities, and leadership experience. Key Responsibilities: Document current (as-is) business processes and model future (to-be) business flows. Manage small projects and occasionally serve as interim Project Manager. Analyze business requirements, procedures, and problems to provide effective solutions aligned with stakeholder needs. Manage changing requirements (change control) while effectively communicating impacts to project teams and stakeholders. Gather, document, analyze, and prioritize business requirements through workshops and interviews. Develop diagrams, process flows, and system logic illustrations. Participate in all phases of the project life cycle, from inception to transition. Utilize analysis tools (data flow diagrams, process models, data models) to create system requirements specifications using Use Cases. Prepare, document, and coordinate testing plans. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication. Oversee and support junior Business Analysts in project activities. Collaborate with developers, QA, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to improve processes. Engage in Business Development activities and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Mentor other Business Analysts. Assist in disciplines like marketing, research, and vendor assessments as needed. Estimate deliverables and project timelines accurately. Identify training needs, develop training plans, and conduct training to drive system adoption. Participate in interviews and recruiting efforts for Business Analysts. Stay updated with industry and technology trends. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree (Master’s degree preferred). Experience: 7-12 years as a Business Analyst, with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of SQL (joins, unions, stored procedures, SSIS, ETL processes). Experience with system development methodologies (e.g., RUP, Agile). Proven experience with Use Cases, requirements gathering, and workflow design. Familiarity with enterprise IT systems (e.g., CMS, CRM, HRMS, ERP, DAM, Portals, e-Commerce). Experience integrating applications with enterprise systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft and open-source development technologies. Project Management Skills: Strategic planning and problem-solving experience. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage expectations of stakeholders. Experience scoping projects and mediating solutions with development teams. Ability to work flexibly, with overlapping hours for U.S.-based coordination. Other Skills: Strong analytical skills, persuasive and patient manner, and adaptability to tight deadlines. High level of integrity, professional maturity, and ability to work collaboratively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
