Job Details: Position:-Business Analyst (P&C Insurance) Job Location:- Gurugram/Noida About client: It is a global consulting, technology, and managed services company that primarily serves the insurance industry. JD Key Responsibilities: Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements across P&C insurance operations (underwriting, claims, policy administration, billing). Lead and contribute to digital transformation initiatives, enabling automation, modernization, and innovation across business functions. Analyze existing processes and identify areas for process optimization and operational excellence. Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology and data teams. Support implementation of process improvements, ensuring measurable outcomes in efficiency, cost, and quality. Collaborate with underwriting teams to streamline risk assessment and pricing workflows. Work closely with finance and accounting stakeholders to ensure alignment with financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance processes. Develop user stories, use cases, and workflow diagrams to communicate requirements effectively. Participate in UAT and change management activities during solution deployment. Create and maintain documentation including business cases, SOPs, and training materials. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (MBA or insurance certifications preferred). 4-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain, specifically in P&C. Deep understanding of insurance lifecycle, especially underwriting, policy servicing, and claims. Hands-on experience in process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). Experience with digital tools and platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, automation tools, analytics platforms). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel). Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA). Insurance certifications such as CPCU, AINS, or similar.
