Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Bangalore Duration: 12 Months Experience: 6 years Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days joiners Job Description: Who we are: Global Supplier Management (GSM) is part of Supply Chain Operations and is responsible for sourcing and costing activities from a Manufacturing perspective. The GSM team ensures continuity of supply, quality and develops the commodity strategies for the hundreds of products that manufactures. The team maintains close relationship with component suppliers and strongly collaborates to consistently drive innovation, productivity and efficiency. Minimum Requirement: Education and Experience: Graduate in Engineering with 3 to 4 years experience of Commodity Management/Material Management/ Supply Chain Management/ Business Analytics Hands on Experience on ERP (Oracle, SAP) with excellent written & verbal communication skills Strong Business Analytical Skills, Knowledge on Tableau, Excel, Other analytical tools Experience in HW Manufacturing / Product development industry is preferred What you will do: This will be the Job Description for the role being interviewed for : Assists in costing and quoting activities for the commodities, including creation of RFQs, supplier follow-ups, quote updates, analysis & closure. Maintain component attribute by updating Data in the required tool. Provides Business Analysis & recommendations. Generating regular & AdHoc Reports on status, Identifying the Gaps, communicate with the stakeholders & timely resolution. Provide Data for the regular internal audits & support in validation of claims. Assist with Supplier Review & White papers Data preparation. Required Skills/Experience: Strong Analytical background to Interpret Data, fast turnaround on adhoc analysis & deliver insightful recommendations using statistical/analytical techniques. Experience in RFQ Management, Commodity Management, Cost Negotiation, Global Business Acumen, Supply Chain Knowledge, Stakeholder management, Bills of Materials Knowledge, Sourcing, Supplier Management, Material Management. Should have worked with Suppliers and involved in Supplier Development, Supplier Set Up and Cost loading activity Understanding of Business share, Partner and Vendor Relationship, Working knowledge of Supply Chain Tools, Spend Management and Cost Savings Reports. Proactively participates in Commodity teams with minimal direction toward daily goals and objectives and continuously looks for opportunities to contribute and able to work in high pressure environment.
