Job Description

The position is expected to take the ownership of generating new business (adding clients) for the assigned region Is expected to be good in anticipating new business opportunities by exploring specific needs of potential clients. Also responsible for conceptualizing new initiatives for increasing the sales Should be able to come with leads for new business and also convert the leads being provided by being the eyes and ears in the market and abreast with developments in the insurance industry Being able to understand the competitors market share and analyze their strengths & weaknesses for business forecasting Ability to have a clear focus on sales targets and revenue achievement Ability to generate leads, consolidate databases, schedule meetings and open doors to enable sale of commercial insurance products Proactive in customer engagement and ability to influence for conversion Ability to deal / handle large corporate clients including managing positive working relationship at various levels Reasonable knowledge of general insurance products will be added advantage People skills are very important - ability to motivate salesforce to perform optimally Experience in devising and implementing processes and standard operating procedures to drive sales Multi-tasking & prioritizing as strong work ethics Strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Networking & Collaborative aligned to result orientation Proficiency in office productivity applications (MS Office, Google Apps etc.,) Exp.- Minimum 3 years in B2B Sales or Commercial Insurance Sales
