Job Description

POSITION TITLE - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE VERTICAL - SALES SUPPORT DEPARTMENT - SALES SUPPORT KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB (POSITION SUMMARY) This will be a key position with responsibility to generate sales and business through Walk-in Clients and Attending walk-in customers and providing them exceptional customer service and suggesting channel partners. KEY RESULT AREAS 1) To ensure smooth functioning of the showroom. 2) To attend walk-in customers and providing them exceptional customer service. 3) To provide technical support to customers and resolve their queries. 4) To ensure achievement of sales target (Only related to Showroom) 5) To suggest dealers and channel partners to clients KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES S.No. STRATEGIC 1. To plan strategies that will help increase Sales through walk-in clients. S.No. OPERATIONAL 1. Responsible for smooth functioning of the showroom. 2. Responsible for generation of Sales through Walk-in Clients. 3. To discuss the details, features, general product information with the customers and potential buyers. 4. To attend walk-in customers and providing them exceptional customer service. 5. To make quotations for architects and end customers as per their requirements. 6. To provide technical support to customers and resolve their queries. 7. To maintain and develop customer relationship being the Single Point of contact. 8. Responsible for achievement of sales target (Only related to Showroom) OTHER INPUTS/REPORTS: 1. To maintain Daily sales conversion report 2. To submit Walk-in and Sales reports on Weekly/Monthly basis to the Reporting Manager 3. To ensure daily updating of report file with respect to Walk-in customers, B2B, Architect and designers OPERATING NETWORK INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS S.No. DEPARTMENT PURPOSE OF THE INTERACTION 1) Sales Team - For closure of Sales 2) Order Processing Department - Stock availability of Products 3) Product Management - For details about New Product launch, German Articles, replacement for discontinued products, special/specific requirements from clients 4) Projects and Hospitality - To update them about leads generated at the Design Centre and closing the same 5) Marketing - Regarding requirements for events 6) OEM - To aide them with the technical details about the products and to handle their clients 7) Customer Care - To ensure after sales service and technical help for clients EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS S.No. ENTITY PURPOSE OF THE INTERACTION 1) Customers - For sales / Business related enquiries, Quotations and technical support 2) Architects/ Interior Designer/ Contractors - For Business generation and cater to specific requirements 3) Dealers/ Channel Partners - Regarding status of Sales closure 4) OEM - Regarding status of Sales closure *** This JD is indicative in nature & may not comprehensively cover all aspects of your job, which may be intimated to you time to time.*** Send your Resume/CV to hrintern.bangalore-extern@hafeleindia.com
