Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive / Sales Executive to support and expand its presence in the basmati and non-basmati rice segment. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in driving sales growth, managing distributor networks, and building strong brand equity in the rice industry. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute effective sales strategies for both B2B and B2C channels. Identify and establish relationships with new distributors and business partners. Promote brand presence across targeted regions, ensuring consistent market visibility. Lead and manage ground-level and field sales teams to achieve business targets. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine go-to-market strategies. Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales performance. Candidate Profile: Minimum 3 - 5 years of sales experience in the rice industry. Deep understanding of basmati and non-basmati rice varieties, quality standards, and market demand. Demonstrated success in brand building, distributor onboarding, and territory expansion. Familiarity with consumer segments such as APL (Above Poverty Line) and BPL (Below Poverty Line). Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and team leadership skills. Preference will be given to candidates with academic backgrounds in Agri-Business or Food Technology . Experience with leading rice brands like India Gate, Daawat, Kohinoor , or Fortune will be considered a significant advantage.
