Business Development Executive Job Title: Business Development Executive Vertical: Linguistic Services (Translation, Localization, Multimedia & Education, Voice Over) Location: Bangalore Reporting to: Business Head Position Type: Full-time Company Overview: Knowledgeworks is a leading provider of localization, translation, and e-learning solutions, working with Fortune 500 companies. Role Summary: The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth by selling our linguistic and language services to both Indian and international markets. The role involves driving the business development cycle - from identifying high-potential clients to qualifying them and nurturing strong, long-term relationships. Its about strategically exploring new opportunities, engaging with key decision-makers and positioning our solutions to create lasting business impact. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and develop new business opportunities in key verticals such as IT/ITES, Healthcare, BFSI, and Education. • Strategically explore target markets, engage with potential clients, and offer value-driven solutions. • Conduct market research to track industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies. • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact. • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the management. • Handle client interactions with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-centric approach. • Engage in cold calling, field sales, and client visits to expand market reach. • Execute digital campaigns, email outreach, and lead-generation strategies. • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and business reports. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business Management or an MBA. • 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field. • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). • Proven ability to generate leads, develop business opportunities and qualify the leads. • Basic understanding of business processes and market dynamics. • Ability to conduct market research. Key Skills & Competencies: • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven mindset. • Strong planning, organizing, and time-management skills. • Excellent networking, and relationship-building abilities. • Ability to handle challenging situations with integrity and professionalism. • Innovative and out-of-the-box thinking to drive business growth. • Experience in service sales is a plus, particularly in translation and localization. • Willingness to travel for client meetings and field sales activities.
