Job Description: *Business Development Manager* Location: Mumbai / Lucknow / Delhi NCR / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune Department: Sales & Expansion Strategy Reports to: Founder / Head of Business Experience Required: 3-7 years Type: Full-Time | On-Site Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager at Bambai Design Co, you will drive client growth, manage strategic sales initiatives, and play a key role in expanding our experience centers across major Indian cities. This role is ideal for individuals who can balance premium client handling with hands-on execution of expansion plans. Key Responsibilities: Client Acquisition & Sales - Identify and convert high-quality leads into paying clients - Handle inbound and outbound sales for interior design services - Conduct client meetings (virtual/on-site), present design solutions - Follow up for proposals, negotiations, and onboarding - Maintain CRM entries, track pipeline, and prepare weekly reports Experience Center Expansion & Setup - Conduct feasibility research and site shortlisting in target cities - Liaise with real estate agents, property managers, and landlords - Assist in negotiations and finalization of experience center locations - Coordinate with the design team to plan layout of demo spaces - Support marketing & PR launch strategy for each new center - Ensure operational readiness (furniture, branding, tech setup) for launch - Create B2B partnerships with builders and developers around each center Partnerships & Brand Alliances - Build relationships with architects, property dealers, and local influencers - Attend exhibitions, networking events, and design expos - Explore brand collaborations that drive client traffic to the experience centers Required Skills: - Excellent communication & interpersonal skills (English & Hindi) - Strong sales acumen with experience in premium product/service sales - Understanding of interior design industry (added advantage) - Exposure to real estate or retail expansion projects is a bonus - Comfortable with city-wise travel for on-ground execution Preferred Qualifications: - Graduate in Business, Marketing, Design, or Architecture - 3-7 years of business development experience (interiors, real estate, luxury retail) - Fluent in local language(s) of assigned city (Marathi, Kannada, Telugu etc. as needed) - Proficient in CRM tools like Zoho / HubSpot What You'll Get: - Fixed salary + performance-based incentives - Leadership opportunity in a fast-growing design brand - Work directly with founders & creative heads - Opportunity to lead city-wise expansion - Premium & creative work culture Show more Show less
