Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of proven success in identifying and acquiring new business within the D2C space. You will be responsible for driving new client acquisition, building and managing relationships, and executing strategies that align with our business growth objectives in the D2C market. Role & responsibilities New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify, target, and secure new D2C brand accounts, with a focus on driving growth through direct outreach, networking, and market research. Market Insight & Strategy: Understand the unique challenges and opportunities in the D2C space and develop tailored solutions to address the needs of potential clients. Sales Execution: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, ensuring that new D2C brands are acquired and onboarded successfully. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs, pain points, and goals. Partnership Development: Establish and maintain effective relationships with key decision-makers within D2C brands Negotiation & Closing: Lead the negotiation process with potential clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and closing new accounts in a timely manner. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with Technology, product, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of partners needs and smooth onboarding. Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Regularly update management on sales pipeline, progress, and performance. Provide accurate sales forecasts and track key metrics. Education & Experience Required Experience: 6-7 years of proven business development experience, specifically within the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) market, with a demonstrated ability to win and grow new accounts. Proven Success: Strong track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving new business in the D2C space. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the D2C landscape, including marketing, eCommerce, customer experience, and the latest trends in the space. Sales Expertise: Experience in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals with high-value clients. Relationship Builder: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives and key decision-makers. Self-Starter: Highly motivated with the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
