Role & responsibilities Identify and Secure Orders: Proactively identify and secure new business development opportunities, including national and international markets. Utilize established relationships, market research, and industry knowledge to bring in more orders. Achieve Sales Targets: Build and leverage the business network to achieve sales targets within the stipulated time. Set realistic sales goals, track performance, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure targets are met. Market Expansion: Explore and develop new customer segments such as corporate gifting, wedding gifting, and other potential markets. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs, and develop tailored marketing strategies. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with artisans, SHG women, micro - entrepreneurs, to understand their needs and develop industry linkages that enhance My E-Haat's impact. Provide support and guidance to stakeholders to help them improve their products and business practices. Representation: Represent and position My E-Haat at pitch meetings with potential institutional buyers and industry collaborations. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, negotiate terms, and attend industry events to network and promote My E-Haat. Marketing Support: Assist in ATL (Above The Line) & BTL (Below The Line) marketing of My E-Haat offerings and artisans. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns, monitor effectiveness, and provide insights for improvement. ATL Marketing: Utilize mass media methods such as TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, and billboards to build brand awareness and reach a broad audience. Develop and manage advertising campaigns, monitor impact, and adjust strategies based on performance metrics. BTL Marketing: Implement targeted and direct marketing efforts like direct mail, email marketing, sponsorships, events, and promotions to engage specific consumer groups. Develop personalized campaigns, monitor effectiveness, and adjust strategies based on customer feedback. Event Support: Aid in conceptualizing and executing online and physical events and exhibitions to showcase products. Plan and coordinate event logistics, collaborate with stakeholders, and monitor the success of events.. Order Management: Coordinate with partners and manage the end-to-end value chain and delivery timeline for all My E-Haat bulk orders. Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, monitor inventory levels, and address any issues in the order fulfillment process. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain and update the CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions. Ensure timely follow-ups, nurture relationships with potential and existing clients, and develop strategies to improve customer retention and satisfaction. Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular competitive analysis to understand market trends, competitor strategies, and identify opportunities for differentiation. Monitor competitor activities, develop strategies to position My E-Haat competitively, and provide insights to the Core Team. Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed business proposals and contracts to potential clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and My E-Haat's offerings. Develop customized proposals, collaborate with stakeholders, and follow up on submissions to secure contracts. Training and Development: Provide training and support to artisans and SHG members on market trends, customer preferences, and sales techniques to enhance their business acumen. Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients and partners to continuously improve My E-Haat's products and services. Use this feedback to inform strategic decisions and product development. Digital Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the digital marketing team to develop and implement online marketing campaigns that drive traffic and sales to My E-Haat's platform. Monitor effectiveness, provide insights for improvement, and collaborate on digital content and promotional materials. Budget Management: Assist in managing the business development budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Networking Events: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships and identify new business opportunities. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends for the Core Team and stakeholders. Innovation and Strategy: Contribute to the development of innovative business strategies and models to drive growth and sustainability for My E-Haat. Preferred candidate profile At least 4-6 years of business development/sales experience. Experience in the handicraft, fashion, or FMCG industry is desirable. Candidates with an MBA will be preferred, but it is not essential. Proven track record of maintaining stakeholder/client relationships and establishing new partnerships. Experience in business development strategy, sales generation, and event curation. Ability to craft compelling opportunities for a wide range of potential buyers/collaborators. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in report writing (Word and PowerPoint) and presentation skills.
