Job Summary: EC-Council is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team in an individual contributor role. This position will primarily focus on hunting new business opportunities across various sectors, including enterprise, channel, and academia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new clients and partners in these areas, while driving strategic initiatives to expand EC-Council's market presence. This is a high-impact, target- driven role requiring a strong hunter mentality to generate new leads and close deals. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and engage with new business opportunities across enterprise, channel, and academic sectors. Continuously prospect and generate new leads via networking, cold-calling, referrals, and leveraging existing contacts. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan tailored to drive growth within assigned sectors. Manage the full sales cycle from outreach and qualification through to closing, working independently to exceed sales goals. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and academic institutions to drive loyalty and ensure continued success. Resolve challenges or roadblocks for clients and partners to ensure a smooth sales process and high satisfaction. Run and manage product demos and presentations for potential clients, understanding their needs to provide suitable solutions. Coordinate with marketing and customer success teams to drive revenue growth. Collaborate with the operations team to promptly address and resolve any customer issues. Key Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on hunting new business. Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth. Experience in the cybersecurity or education/training industry is a strong plus, but not mandatory. Strong experience in relationship-building, prospecting, and closing deals independently.
