Job Description

Role Description: We are building a dynamic and result-oriented business development team to join our growing team across India. The ideal candidates will be passionate about working with start-up organizations, driving business growth, building a strong e-commerce B2B sales experience, and being consistent in achieving sales targets. Here's a comprehensive outline of the Client Acquisition, Business Development, Sales Process, Client Relationship Building, Market Insights, and MIS: Client Acquisition Prospecting: Identify potential clients through research, referrals, and networking. Lead Qualification: Assess leads' suitability based on budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT). Business Development Needs Analysis: Understand clients' pain points, goals, and requirements. Solution Presentation: Showcase tailored solutions addressing clients' needs. Proposal Submission: Provide detailed proposals outlining scope, timeline, and pricing. Sales Process Discovery Call: Conduct in-depth calls to understand clients' needs and expectations. Demo/Presentation: Showcase products/services, highlighting key features and benefits. Negotiation: Discuss and agree upon pricing, terms, and conditions. Closure: Finalize deals, ensuring all parties are satisfied. Client Relationship Building Onboarding: Ensure seamless integration, setting clear expectations and goals. Regular Check-ins: Maintain open communication, addressing concerns and gathering feedback. Value Addition: Provide ongoing support, insights, and recommendations to drive client success. Market Insights Market Research: Conduct surveys, focus groups, and analysis to understand market trends and client needs. Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitors' strategies, strengths, and weaknesses. Industry Reports: Stay updated on industry developments, challenges, and opportunities. Management Information System (MIS) Data Collection: Gather data on sales performance, client interactions, and market trends. Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify patterns, opportunities, and challenges. Reporting: Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders through regular reports. Qualifications Bachelors degree in business administration, sales & marketing, or related field. 6 to 8 years experience in E-Commerce B2B Sales To excel in this role, a category head typically needs an MBA or engineering or an equivalent degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Several years of experience in category management (manufacturing) or a similar role within a B2B e-commerce environment Strong analytical skills to interpret data and market trends effectively. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships and collaborate across teams. A strategic mindset with the ability to develop long-term plans while being adaptable to changing market conditions.
