Job Description

A. Transaction support/ M&A Diligence i. Deal/ Transaction Evaluation & Screening Help present opportunities to senior and executive management group as may be required Assess strategic fit and financial/ economic impact of opportunities ii. Financial modeling & valuation Prepare/ review complex financial models to evaluate the robustness of an opportunity Apply valuation methodologies/ techniques and risk analysis as appropriate for any given company, business or sector. iii. Deal/ Transaction Execution Responsible for end to end deal/ transaction management including due diligence, documentation, coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Define/ draft the commercial terms or non-binding/ binding offers, MoU, Letter of intent, or Term Sheets depending on the nature of transaction and work with legal teams in order to translate the same into a definitive agreements. B. Strategic Business Development Projects i. New Business development Understand & evaluate new business opportunities for the Group Prepare sector, competition and opportunity analysis and investment thesis Business plan development along with financial model ii. Coordination with external advisors and cross functional teams Lead the project management to achieve timely conclusion with desired results C. Executive Support i. Strategic Issue Analysis: Stay abreast with key developments in target sectors, including regulatory developments, industry announcements, peer set analysis, etc. Conduct research and present key analysis on important developments, providing management with objective and strategic recommendations. ii. Representational Duties: Manage sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism. Represent the Company at external meetings and events as and when required, ensuring a seamless extension of the companys vision and ethos. What are we looking for: Passionate Learners and Growth-Driven Individuals with: Masters’ Degree in management, Chartered Accountancy, or related field. The candidate should have relevant professional experience of at least 8-10 years in investment banking, financial consulting, mergers & acquisition or corporate strategy/ BD roles. Exceptional analytical, strategic and critical thinking skills essential to prepare business models and analyze potential deal investments. Experience in buy side transactions is preferable. Experience in mergers and acquisition in infrastructure sectors including ports, power, metals, mining industry is preferred. The role requires quantitative skills with experience in creating data-driven recommendations and working on investment analysis. Ability to perform in high pressure/ within short timelines.
