Job Description

Work Location: Satara (If you are from Baramati, we also have one opening in Baramati.) Job and Workplace Type: Full-Time (OnsiteField-Based Role) Role Description: Dealer Development & Management: Identify and onboard new dealers in the taluka by leveraging local networks and explaining Orbits model and benefits. Support them with supplies, training, and regular follow-ups to ensure smooth operations. Demand Generation for Dealer: Engage with farmers and communities through demos, events, and outreach to build awareness and generate leads for the dealer. Sales & Market Development (Direct): Drive direct primary sales in the territory to achieve targets and expand Orbits presence beyond dealer coverage. Customer Interaction & Support: Regularly connect with farmers, resolve complaints, and organize trainings or incentive activities for dealers and sales teams. Eligibility Criteria: Education: Graduate in any field, (B.Tech Agri/B.Sc. Agri Graduates are preferred) Experience: Min 2 Years of Experience in Handling Sales or Business Development in the Farm Machinery/Tractor Industry. Must have a good understanding of the Satara/Baramati region. Skillsets: Basic Excel, PowerPoint-Preferred Languages known: Marathi & Hindi (mandatory), English (basic) Candidate Location: Candidate must be either from Satara or Baramati Background & Mindset: Farmer family background if possible (not a must) Passion for impact and making a difference on ground Should be willing to embrace a start-up culture of iterations, failed attempts, ambiguity, etc.
