Role & responsibilities The Regional Sales Leader for SmartMarket is responsible for driving the growth and adoption of the SmartMarket platform, a cutting-edge location visualization and analytics tool tailored for industries like Retail, FMCG, BFSI, and more. This role also includes managing TOP Google Maps Platform accounts and identifying growth opportunities through cross-selling and upselling. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Drive sales of the SmartMarket platform by identifying and targeting key industries including Retail, FMCG, BFSI, Mobility, and Automotive. Handle marquee Google Maps Platform accounts, driving customer success and fostering long-term partnerships Generate revenue from both existing customers (Farming) and new prospects (Hunting). Collaborate with partners and system integrators (SIs) to drive channel revenue and maximize market penetration. Define key market segments and develop tailored go-to-market strategies to achieve sales quotas. Conduct joint business planning with customers to identify opportunities and deliver customized solutions leveraging SmartMarket. Prepare accurate sales forecasts and ensure achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, showcasing the value of SmartMarket in optimizing operations, enhancing decision-making, and driving business performance. Innovate mechanisms to identify new opportunities, address customer pain points, and create success stories. QUALIFICATION & SKILL SET 8+ years of experience in IT Solution/ application Sales to BFSI / Retail / FMCG / Mobility / Automobile segments. A bachelors degree in engineering is mandatory. Excellent oral and written communication skills. A person having a good understanding of IT/Software services would be preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business & product & the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions to customers of all sizes. Must be an active listener and good presenter. An energetic person with an inclination to understand the business needs of the customer and mapping the internal resources of the company to reach a satisfying and sellable solution.
