Job Description: Business Operations Associate Company: MariTide Location: Mumbai, India (Full-Time, In-Person) About Us: MariTide is a fast-growing, innovative startup pioneering the future of sustainable food through seaweed farming and products. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations Associate to join our dynamic team and play a key role in building and scaling our operations. Key Responsibility Areas: ● Procurement ○ Coordinate the procurement of essential materials and equipment for our seaweed farm located in Devgad. ○ Source and manage inventory of seaweed from third-party suppliers. ○ Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement. ● Internal Operations ○ Organize and maintain the company’s knowledge base, ensuring accessibility and accuracy of information. ○ Develop and streamline operational processes, particularly for procurement and vendor coordination. ○ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.\ ● External Operations ○ Manage inventory and oversee order processing to ensure seamless customer experiences. ○ Follow up with customers to address inquiries and maintain strong relationships. ○ Assist the founder in developing and distributing marketing collateral for branding and outreach efforts. What We’re Looking For: ● 3+ years of experience in business operations, administration, or similar roles. ● Strong organizational and project management skills. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. ● Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver ● Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. ● Prior experience in procurement, operations, or logistics is a plus. ● Passion for sustainability, innovation, and the food industry.
